Alex Jones flaunts pregnancy curves in tiny bikini before last The One Show appearance

The One Show presenter Alex Jones, 42, is heading off on maternity leave with her second child after tonight's episode.

Ahead of her last episode before her departure, which she will be presenting with Matt Baker, Alex stripped down to a tiny bikini.

Posing in an Aztec print two piece in a changing room mirror earlier this week, Alex captioned the snap: "About to pop! Penultimate day at work today."

Alex flaunted her pregnancy curves in the skimpy bikini, leaving her fans hot under the collar.

The brunette bombshell, who already mum to Edward, two, also discussed her feelings about leaving the show to give birth in a social media post last night.

Posting a picture of her and Matt with actress Emma Thompson, she wrote: "And that’s my penultimate show before the bubba done, my last one with Matthew.

"It feels so weird to be saying goodbye, but it’s only temporary, the Autumn will come round soon enough. I’ll miss the team and lovely viewers but I’m looking forward to being just mama for a little while."

Meanwhile, Alex's replacements have been revealed, with Stacey Dooley, Emma Willis, and Mel Giedroyc will be joining regular guest hosts Angellica Bell, Angela Scanlon, and Michelle Acklerey.

Alex has confirmed she will be back in the Autumn, while Angela, Emma, Mel, Stacey, and Michelle will appear for the One Show relay, with Michelle Ackerley's two-week guest spot rounding things off in August.

She said about her replacements: "I hope they have as much fun as I do on the show. I’ll be back on the sofa in the autumn, but in the meantime, I plan on watching from my own sofa with little Teddy and the newest addition."

After the birth of her first son in 2017, Alex admitted on Graham Norton's Radio 2 show that she may have gone back to work too quickly.

She said: "To be fair, the BBC were really supportive, they were amazing. They said, you have as much time off, and when you're happy to come back then we'll be glad to have you.

"And I was just insecure, and thought, I need to get back as soon as I can. And in hindsight, yeah, I did go back too quickly."

The One Show continues on Monday at 7pm on BBC.
