JoJo Siwa's emotional family reunion after 'not being able to see anyone' for weeks

JoJo Siwa took to her Instagram to document her emotional return home to her mom and ‘kids’ as she jetted off to New Zealand for a few weeks. It is not yet known what JoJo was doing over there, although many fans suspect she may have been filming a TV show.

Her mom, and ‘kids’ were elated to see the star again, but as well as her family, her fans were also glad to have Jojo Siwa back. The Dance Moms alum has been active on social media ever since her rise to fame, so of course, fans were missing the constant snaps.

Taking to her 11.3 million Instagram followers, JoJo posted a reel on her way back from New Zealand. In the first part of the video, she wrote: “Sad bc I’m leaving NZ… But happy because I’m going to surprise my mom and kids.”

The TV star then proceeded to show her many flights back home before landing in Iowa to surprise her mom.

In the caption, the star wrote: “I wasn’t able to see anyone for the last 20ish days, and couldn’t communicate with anyone for the last 8 days…. Long 40 hours of travel, but so worth it.”

It is not clear what Siwa was up to in New Zealand, although some fans suspect she may have been filming a new show.

Fans gush over the ‘cute’ video

As well as being glad to see celebrity JoJo’s return to the online world, fans were also thrilled about her mom’s return as they hailed her ‘iconic.’

“So cute ur mum is iconic the crawling is what I call commitment!!!” exclaimed one fan.

Another penned: “Even tho she works so hard she still takes out the time to make her girl group so happy omg!”

“Such a beautiful video,” gushed another fan.

“You are an amazing human!!” exclaimed another.

The star recently celebrated her 20th birthday

Although reality fans may still see Siwa as the nine-year-old that burst onto our screens in 2013, they may be shocked to realize that she recently celebrated her 20th birthday.

From her social media, it looked like the star had a blast on a cruise with her nearest and dearest, as she captioned the highlight reel: “Take me back in time.”

In the past decade, the star’s career has gone from strength to strength and from her travels, it looks like she may have another exciting project on the way!
