Australian 'healing' evangelist John Mellor suddenly dies leaving his wife heartbroken

The wife of a healing evangelist who preached in front of thousands has been left heartbroken after his sudden death from a short illness. John Mellor, the internationally famous evangelist from Queensland's Sunshine Coast, died on March 17 having devoted 47 years to Christianity after converting at 20-years-old. His theatrical sermons had his followers believe they had been cured from serious ailments such as cancer, blindness and Parkinson's disease.
